Fake Twitter profiles, nothing new, are being used extensively to spread malware according to F-Secure.
Unlike many earlier attempts, these accounts look realistic. The user and account names are plausible, they have a variety of wallpapers and user locations. The accounts send out tweets that either repeat real human tweets or are based on trending topics. And they have a link.
